We enjoyed the unique experience of having a private outdoor bathtub in our room, which was a special treat after a long day of activities. The buffet breakfast had a good mix of Japanese and western options, including vegetarian choices, which was a plus. The hotel was located in a peaceful area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Although the bathtub was a nice feature, we were surprised to find out there was an extra fee associated with its use, especially since we had booked a room with a private bathroom. some noise from a nearby machine was a bit bothersome during our stay.

The hotel provides a unique and memorable experience for an affordable price. Guests can enjoy an outdoor shower or wooden onsen tub on their balcony, as well as indoor onsens nearby. Breakfast had a good selection, catering to both Japanese and Western tastes. the hotel offers convenient shuttle service and discounts for nearby attractions, making it an ideal location for sightseeing.
One aspect that some guests may find inconvenient is the location being a bit far from the town and temples.

The hot springs were relaxing and the breakfast had a decent variety of options. the location was also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and public transportation.
The room was cold and uncomfortable during the winter, with only a small heater that barely made a difference. the outdoor shower was unusable due to frigid temperatures, and we were disappointed that there were no indoor shower alternatives.
